In the Name of Allah, the All Merciful, Most Merciful.

We intend a state of constant, burning yearning (Shawq) for the Divine Pleasure, seeking nothing but the Countenance of Allah in every heartbeat.

We intend to be drowned in the ocean of Constant Remembrance (Mudawamat al-Dhikr) until the final breath, until the heart is illuminated by the majesty of His Name.

We intend the station of Fana’ (Annihilation in the Divine) through the sweetness of remembrance, and the realisation of Wisal Haqiqi (True Union) by the lifting of all veils.

We intend that every atom of creation serves as a mirror reflecting His Presence, and to be among those who remember Him standing, sitting, and on their sides, witnessing His purpose in all that exists.

We intend to follow the Sunnah of our Master ﷺ with absolute sincerity, both in the hidden and the manifest, and to be granted the Light of his Love as a guide through the stations of wayfaring.

We intend for all other loves to be purged from the heart save the Love of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, seeking to leave this world in a state of Divine Pleasure and Prophetic Companionship.

We intend to be complete adherents of the Prophetic Way, that his light may guide us through the path of wayfaring and never allow us to be taken off the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem).

We intend for every false imprint of falsehood (Batil) to be destroyed and replaced with the indelible imprint of Divine Love and a Qalb Saleem (A Heart Sound and Whole).

We intend to be cured of all spiritual and physical ailments, seeking Divine Assistance to remain steadfast (Istiqama) on the path of Pleasure.

We intend the removal of all worldliness from the heart, distancing ourselves from Divine Displeasure as the East is distanced from the West.

We intend to be clothed in the humility of the pious bondservants of the past, seeking the pleasure of our Master, our teachers, and our parents.

We intend to be anchored in absolute certainty (Yaqin) within the creed of the Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah, harmonising our inward convictions with our outward actions.

We intend to be shielded by a Divine Fortress (Ḥimāyah) from the company of the corrupt, the disobedient, and those who have earned Divine Wrath.

We intend to be guided to the hands of True Inheritors of the spiritual paths who bridge the distance to His Proximity, and to be blessed with the Suhbah (companionship) of the chosen slaves whose presence is a remedy for the soul.

We intend whatever the righteous and acting scholars have intended from the beginning of time until the end of days. May Allah accept these intentions and make them the remedy for our souls and our community.
